Every one of us has a vocation, an identity we slip into in front of God or deep within ourselves. When we find it — if we find it — we realize it fits to a tee, and we’re wise if we nurture it…

My vocation is to write about hope and to do that mainly through poetry. So, I write with passion — compassion — about current events because I see very clearly how active God is in our world — just as active, in fact, as He was when people wrote about parting waters, burning bushes, and walking on waves.

We can see it, if we’re tuned in, and tuning in is vital. Tuning in, discovering the power that comes from hope (the fruit of God’s activity in our world), and turning that power loose in our world, that is what makes life an adventure.
